#MeToo Torchbearer Tanushree Dutta’s Lawyer Accused Of Molestation By A Fellow Advocate; Details Inside
Tanushree Dutta’s lawyer Nitin Satpute has been accused of molestation by a fellow advocate. A complaint against him has been filed in Kherwadi’s police station
Not very long ago, Tanushree Dutta had opened a can of worms by sharing her ordeal that took place on a film’s set. The actress had accused Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct, hence becoming the torchbearer of Bollywood’s #MeToo movement. Soon after her confession, an enquiry was set up; however, he was declared clean-chit. The actress then challenged Mumbai Police’s verdict. Tanushree’s case is being handled by a popular advocate, Nitin Satpute. However, if a report in ANI is to be believed, her lawyer has been accused of molestation by a fellow advocate.
Taking to their social media accounts, ANI has reported that the accuser in question has filed a case of molestation against Nitin Satpute at Kherwadi’s Police Station. “A case of molestation has been registered against actor Tanushree Dutta's advocate Nitin Satpute at Kherwadi Police Station, the complainant is also an advocate,” read their tweet. However, after being criticised for using Tanushree Dutta’s name, the handle soon deleted their tweet and re-wrote it by removing her mention. Meanwhile, it was at the beginning of December last year that Tanushree Dutta filed a petition before a court, in order to oppose/challenge the ‘B Summary’ report filed by the police officials in regards to her complaint of molestation against Nana Patekar. A ‘B-Summary’ report is issued before a court when the police officer finds no evidence to continue the investigation or file a charge sheet. The protest petition was filed by Dutta’s lawyer before a metropolitan magistrate’s court in Andheri.
